Ethan at Billy Chinook
Today we went wake boarding at Lake Billy Chinook. It's about an hour from our house, a lot better than the 3.5+ hour drive to lakes from Santa Cruz. In some ways it was very California-like: relatively big with very warm but cloudy water and a little bit crowded. In other ways it was totally Oregon: huge canyon walls with waterfalls, dozens of Ospry taking trout, and spectacular views of snow-capped mountains.
